About New York Counseling Services

The right therapeutic relationship can change everything.

At New York Counseling Services, we believe meaningful change begins with genuine connection. Through collaborative, relationship-centered therapy, we help individuals navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and confidence in a space that feels warm, welcoming, and deeply human.

Our Approach

No two people experience life the same way, which is why we don't believe therapy should follow a one-size-fits-all model.

Our therapists draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, allowing treatment to be personalized for each individual. Depending on your goals, your therapy may incorporate:

  • Relational Therapy

  • Trauma-Informed Care

  • Attachment-Based Therapy

  • Psychodynamic Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • EMDR

  • Narrative Therapy

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we work to understand the deeper patterns that keep you feeling stuck so that lasting change becomes possible.

A Space Designed For Healing

Healing isn't just about the conversation. It's also about how you feel the moment you walk through the door.

Our Melville office was intentionally designed to feel warm, comfortable, and inviting. From thoughtfully designed therapy rooms to welcoming common spaces, we've created an environment where clients can exhale, settle in, and focus on themselves.

For those who prefer the convenience of meeting from home, we also offer secure virtual therapy throughout New York and Florida.
